The Library’s Glossary is where administrators manage two organizational tools: Org Labels and Status Colors. These settings help keep processes consistent across all groups in your workspace.
Only Organization Admins can create, edit, or delete these elements.
Managing Org Labels
Org Labels are shared across the entire workspace and can be applied to any item in any group.
How to Create a New Org Label
Go to Library → Glossary.
Click New Label.
Enter the label name and choose a color.
Click Save.
The label becomes immediately available across all groups and appears in the Action Center.
Editing or Deleting an Org Label
In the Glossary, find the label you want to update.
Click the pencil icon to edit the name or color.
Click the trash icon to delete it.
Important:
When an Org Label is deleted, it is automatically removed from all items that currently use it.
This action cannot be undone, so administrators should review usage before removing a label.
Managing Status Colors
Groups create their own statuses, but the colors assigned to those statuses come from the shared palette stored in the Library.
How to Create a New Status Color
Go to Library → Glossary → Status Colors.
Click Create New Status Color.
Choose a color and add an optional description.
Click Save.
The new color becomes available when creating or editing statuses inside any group.
Editing or Deleting a Status Color
Open the Status Colors section in the Glossary.
Click the pencil icon to update the color or description.
Click the trash icon to delete it.
Important:
Deleting a status color does not change or affect any existing statuses that already use that color.
It simply means that the color will no longer appear as an option when creating or editing future statuses.
Default Colors
Every workspace includes four default status colors that always remain available:
Gray
Orange
Red
Green (commonly used for completed items)
Admins can add new colors to expand the palette according to their workflows.
Tips for Admins
Review your label list periodically to avoid duplicates.
Keep color options consistent across processes.
Before deleting a label, confirm whether it is widely used across items.
Maintain clear naming conventions to help teams quickly understand and apply tags
